The Latest SEO Tool Craze
We know that SEO is the biggest craze at the moment in the internet marketing arena. SEO as we know it, or some refer to it as SEM, Search Engine Marketing.
SEO as we know is designed to gain attention, and if we can we want top spot on the search engine rankings. It is hard to monitor what exactly works, when we hear about the latest fads in the industry. What I have done is put a few SEO metrics below for you to check out:
* You must clearly understand the power behind long tail keywords.
* It is important that you can, when you can place content on social media and news sites like Wiki, Propeller, Reddit, Digg, Mixx, Stumble Upon and Knol.
* Crucial that you create a presence out there, on sites like Face book and Twitter, because people want info from leaders r experts, and if you place yourself out there as being one, you will attract these people.
* Also you must follow ‘link baiting’ which is basically placing content related info on many fields as a draw card or magnet for those links.
This new generation SEO Metrics help in keeping track of progress and improvement by throwing old concepts. All these trendy metrics of personalized search, universal search or ‘Long Tail’ embrace new KPIs or Knowledge Performance Indicators which are as follows:
* Being unique, is vital. Create pages unique to you. These are salesman for you business, or website. The more you do of this the more it will go to work for you and sell the product. Technically speaking, its your unique pages that Google surveys, that ultimately rates your site, so be original.
*Increase your yield. Please remember that your uniqueness in your long tail keywords is what is going to optimize your rankings.
* Increase your keyword yield. Your site needs to represent what it is you are all about. When the Google spiders head to your page what are they going to take back with them? If your site is about German Shepard’s and the spiders take back information about ‘dog’s’ it hasn’t been very accurate, so make sure your keywords, define exactly what it is you do.
* Every search engine has a different audience. One of your pages on your site may get huge traffic, while others may not. Google gets around a lot more than that of Yahoo or Bing. So While you may get lots of hits from Google on one page, you may not get the same from Yahoo for example, yet on other pages traffic might be strong because Google, Yahoo and Bing both present it on search results. Confusing I know, but just the way it goes.
* Ensure your long tail keywords get enough traffic to make you money. There is no point being so unique that you only get 10 people to your site each week. In saying that you don’t want 12,000 visitors to your page each week, if they are keyword filtered. Your keywords should get people to your site that want what you have. don’t get me wrong, if you have 12,000 people coming to your site, and they can find what they are after, then that’s great, more money in your pocket.
* Don’t get caught branding yourself with anything with your keywords. be unique and attract customer with long tail keywords that are unique to you.
* Consider the Index-to-Crawl Ratio. Another metric that determines your web pages that have been crawled. If you have a low crawl ratio means that Google doesn’t value your site for what it is your are marketing.
I encourage you to look into the above points, and implement today.
